cheap looking and feeling case

I ordered this last week, and was ready for pick yesterday. I think they switched and gave me the other one they have in Gator line up. This should have red under handle, the other does not, and what I got does not either. But that is OK, even though I thought the flight pro which I ordered might be a little sturdier than this. This is very flimsy on the tops and bottom. The color inside is a horrible pink. I really don't know \why Gator makes such a horrible color in the first place! The only other Molded case I have experience with is the Fender, which is 1000 times better and worth the few extra bucks it costs!

    My review is more about Guitar Center. The case itself was sent back immediately ... twice. It's not what they are describing and not what is on Gator's site for what this case is. It's not a black interior and it's not plush. The handles and locks are not as described. They are getting something inferior from Gator. Go elsewhere.

    Overall it's a nice case at a low price. Not as sturdy as Fender TSA flight cases but waaaay less expensive. I bought a couple for guitars that I didn't have cases for and I wound up playing music chairs (cases) as I found my Fender American Strat and partscaster Tele fit perfectly but my G&L Legacy Tribute was too long to fit. So double-check those dimensions! I have some other TSA flight cases that fit all of the above - these are definitely a little shorter which is great if you want a snug fit for something exactly in the dimensions of a Fender Strat or Tele.

    I can't believe it but Gator did what PRS themselves couldn't do without dropping $350. This thing actually fits an S2 PRS or the SE 24. Literally PRS' own "multi fit" case won't fit the SE but this case is absolutely perfect. Nice interior (mine is brown) and it's light enough to comfortably carry around. The price is great too compared to the other options.

    All My instruments remain enclosed when in storage, traveling or when not in use. I find that the neck retains its close action best when the instrument stays inside a stable atmosphere.
