I have played on many string brands and types. I used Nanowebs for a year. Those are great for longevity but were lacking a tonal quality I couldn't quite nail down since I am green. They are less apt to bending in my experience also. So I was listening to David Gilmore one day and I was like that's it. What are those. He was using GHS strings. I love his bends he is a master in my book. I tried 10s and due to my arthritis they were slightly difficult to bend for me. I tried 9s but they didn't provide the feedback to fingers, it was like they were to mushy (I know really technical right). Then the Guitar Center person said have you tried 9 1/2s. They make those? Haha. Yup have two sets left more on the way. I took the two one for my strat and one for my tele. I can say that the tone was fantastic. The bends were easy and the feedback to my finger tips was spot on. I would recommend these to any who is looking for a sweet spot between 10s and 9s.

gives me a little more punch than .09 gauge stings. I find GHS to be flawless every time, I particularly like their .10 gauge acoustic strings for my Taylor 414 and 322.

These strings are just awesome! The key is to use two (2) different sets of strings that are different brands and gauges. I won't give away my secret but it hasn't failed me yet and I have 3 CDs under my belt. But I will share this with you. Always was your hands before you play. You'll see a dramatic change in string life. Good luck! And never, ever stop playing.

I have been using 9 1/2s since these came out awhile back..I have a hard time breaking them. They have great feel and last quite a long time. I use 10s as well. Wont use any other string!

Great strings- I bounce back and forth between 10's and 9's- so this inbetween set was pretty cool to string up and play on. GHS strings are hard to break and last longer than most strings I have tried. I have played since 1975, so I have a few years of experience with string quality.

I always seem to go back and forth between 10's and 9's- this set was right in between. Good feel that lasted a long time. Highly recommended.
