Clearance G7th Performance 2 Guitar Capo Silver

Not only has G7th made it slimmer and lighter, but they've also reversed its patented clutch mechanism, which gives it a lightning fast squeeze-on, squeeze-off action. It has also been designed to store behind the nut or on the peghead when not in use.

shockingly amazing.
Honestly I read tons of reviews about these before buying one with my latest guitar. I didn't believe any kind of hype, nor do I ever write reviews, but I had to in this case. My Khyser and Shubb constantly had to go on at weird angles to adjust for uneven tension, and they never fit any 2 guitars the same. Was a constant pain switching on and off and up and down. With the G7th, as long as you put it on straight it works. perfect tuning and tone up and down the neck. I've never been as wowed by such a simple change as I was switching to G7th ...and I am not looking back.

I would not buy this capo
Can not stop fret buzz no matter how I position it or how hard I squeeze it onto the neck. I have 2 Martins and a Alvarez and none can use it. Paige capo is the one to get, mine is old but it works fine I just wanted a 2nd capo. I never should wasted my money on this thing, it just looked kinda cool in the pictures. Looks good and is well made but it doesn't work.

I really wanted to like this capo! I liked that it was smaller and had a low profile compared to others. I didn't pay full price, so I am thankful for that. It looks like it is made well, and it is easy to use. However, i creates buzz more often than not. My guess is, it is too skinny, or it doesn't hold down the strings really well. You create tension by squeezing it, but I have tried a light tough and squeed hard with similar results. I find myself just using the spring loaded capos that cost a third of the price. if I had it over, I would pass.

I bought this replacement when after 15 - 20 years of use wore out the string side rubber. The capo is more expensive than most but not when one gets that much service out of it! Two of its best features is no bending of the strings requiring tuning check and it clamps on the nut for convenient placement when not in use. Realized when I got this new one they have a lifetime warranty. Didn't cover the rubber but I was able to buy replacement rubber thru the factory in UK for $1.95. Now I've got 2x Great capos!
Don't like the new design with the tighening knob.

I will agree with the other reviews previously who say it just does NOT work nor live up to its hype. It has no "Clamping" power what so ever you cant get it tight enough on the neck no matter how hard you try..and it causes buzzing and flat notes that you cant get rid of..its NOWHERE near worth the price 44.95? Really its maybe 1.00 worth of materials including the package! Its a bad design that just does not work!!
Very Pleased (just wish they had the gold one)

There's little to say, that hasn't been stated in other reviews. Works perfectly on my Martin. Very easy to move. No string rattling with just moderate pressure. Very pleased.
