Description
The Fender '65 Super Reverb is a faithful recreation of the legendary amplifier that shaped the sound of the 1960s. This all-tube, 45W combo amplifier is built with the same circuitry and components as the original, providing the iconic Blackface tone that defined the era. Four 10" Jensen P10R speakers fill the room with articulate, commanding sound that cuts through at stage volume.
Vintage-Correct Circuitry for Legendary Tone
The Fender '65 Super Reverb is crafted with the same circuitry and components as the original 1960s model to provide the legendary Blackface tone that shaped rock and roll. The dual-channel preamp feeds into a pair of 6L6 power tubes, delivering 45W of power with rich harmonic complexity and touch sensitivity. Turn the amp up and push the power tubes into saturation for sweet overdrive with endless sustain.
Four 10" Speakers for Powerful, Defined Sound
Four 10" Jensen P10R speakers are responsible for the Fender '65 Super Reverb's huge, articulate sound. The multiple speakers provide enhanced power handling, broader frequency response and a wider stereo image compared to a single or dual-speaker design. Notes ring out with bell-like clarity even at high volumes, allowing every subtlety of your playing to be heard.
Vintage Styling with Modern Reliability
The Fender '65 Super Reverb looks the part of a vintage classic with its blackface control panel, brown textured vinyl covering and silver sparkle grille cloth. However, under the hood it features modern components for improved reliability and durability. A heavy-duty frame and high-quality hardware stand up to the rigors of frequent gigging and transport.
A Timeless Classic, Reborn
The Fender '65 Super Reverb is a meticulous recreation of the amplifier that helped define the sound of rock and roll. With vintage-correct circuitry, four 10" speakers and iconic 1960s styling, this 45W combo provides the legendary tone and esthetic of a true classic.

I use it to entertain myself and wife. It's a beautiful piece in my living room. It sounds wonderful with my Eastman 810ce.

I got this amp as an open box deal. Great price for a great amp. It's my second. First was a vintage 1966 Super Reverb that had had some repairs to it after 50+ years of use. It was stolen. SO....then began my quest to replace it with either another similar used one or a new one. Obviously I went with the new. I just love Fender's commitment to making equipment that is able to withstand the brutal treatment most gear eventually does, being loaded in and out of a van, up and down steps, on and off stage. Often by people who have no love for your gear. It gets banged around and you turn it on and within a few minutes you can blow the doors off the place. What's not to love.
This amp has ruined all other amps for me

This is the best sounding amp I've ever owned, and I've had a couple dozen amps of all sorts. I practice with the volume on four and it's not overly loud, but fills the room and has great tone for heavy blues. I like to goose it with a Tube Screamer and it gives up hairy goodness.

To preface... I've owned pretty much all the major Fender amps at one point or another. Blues Jrs, Blues Deluxe, Hot Rod Deluxe & Deville, Supersonic, 65 Deluxe Reverb, 65 Princeton, 65 Twin Reverb, 68 custom Princeton Twin & Deluxe and the buck stops here. This is currently the best sounding, most versatile amp that Fender makes, and probably the closest an amp has ever come to being perfect. If you're looking for the world's greatest clean tone/pedal platform/sublime breakup this is it. Period. Save yourself a bunch of money and time and just buy it. One and done. I had a friend recommend me this expensive/heavy beast of an amp years ago and I didn't listen.. turned off by the price and weight. I proceeded to own almost every other Fender but none of them lit me up inside like this one. The reverb is heaven, the tremolo is perfect, it sounds WONDERFUL at 2 on the volume for home practice and WONDERFUL at 3-4 for a gig. Yes it's awkward to carry, yes it's heavy-ish (altho not as much as the twin), but none of that matters because of the sound it produces. It will highlight your playing dynamics, and the true sound of your guitar like no other amp. It will inspire you to play more, it will make you play above your abilities, it gives back. It can handle any kind of music. It sounds great with any guitar you throw at it (although you absolutely must experience it with a strat). It's got tilt back legs which along with the vintage style slot tuners are probably Leo's greatest underappreciated inventions. Don't expect to get this bad boy to break up at home or smaller stage volumes, arm yourself with some good OD pedals. It produces an extremely loud, FULL, 3D sound which spreads across the stage. BONUS- a little known fact... the often neglected normal channel makes a fantastic bass amp. Just try it! If you want an amp you will own for life, an amp to kill your amp GAS once and for all, when only the absolute best will do... the SR is your amp.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Fender amps have always had the greatest clean tones by far and this amp is no exception to that. If you want that SRV sound this amp is your ticket. Sparkling, celestial clean tone. When it's cranked the amp breaks up fantastically and gives such a smooth and soultry overdriven tone. Leave it on ten and roll your guitar volume down and your back in sparkle valley. Worth every penny.

Does it Cary original factory warranty. Why is it open box. Is there anything wrong with it.
There are a couple of 'open box' versions. One is being sold as blemished:Blemished - This product was returned in great condition, with only minor signs of use, such as slight scuffs or small scratches. It looks and plays like new and may be considered an equivalent to a display model found in a retail store. Includes full manufacturer's warranty Includes Free 2-Year Warranty on guitars and basses Includes 45-Day No Hassle Returns. The other is being sold as mint: Mint - This gear was returned in mint condition. If you're looking for a virtually new instrument in possibly less-than-perfect packaging, this is a great value. Includes full manufacturer's warranty Includes Free 2-Year Warranty on guitars and basses Includes 45-Day No Hassle Returnssubmitted5 years ago
