Exploring the Limited Tom DeLonge Stratocaster | Fender Artist Signature | Fender

Description
Fender has teamed up once again with Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge to release his signature Stratocaster. The Tom DeLonge Stratocaster is built for immense tone and turbo-charged output. A Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker delivers chunky power chords and crunchy riffs perfect for punk and alternative rock. But a streamlined control setup with a single master volume and treble bleed circuit provides natural high-end sparkle for cleans and edge-of-breakup chime.
High-Output Pickups for Punk-Approved Tone
The Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker is a high-output pickup designed for aggressive rock tones. With ceramic magnets and specially designed coils, the Invader produces tight lows, scooped mids and sizzling highs for a tone that cuts through the mix. The streamlined control setup with a single master volume lets you dial in just the right amount of output and distortion. A treble-bleed circuit also preserves the natural high end for clean tones that shimmer and chime.
Modern Neck and Fretboard for Fast, Comfortable Playing
The Tom DeLonge Stratocaster features a modern C-shaped neck profile with medium-jumbo frets on a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard. The flatter fingerboard radius and wider fret wire provide a familiar feel for contemporary players. The neck is also finished in a satin urethane for a smooth, fast playing experience.
Vintage Style With Modern Playability
While the Tom DeLonge Stratocaster packs a thoroughly modern set of pickups and electronics, it retains a vintage-inspired style. Features include vintage-style tuners, a hardtail bridge with block saddles and a custom Tom DeLonge neck plate decorated with his original artwork. The combination of vintage style and modern performance provides an instrument that plays like a dream but looks like an icon.
Made for the Stage and Studio
Whether recording the next Blink-182 album or performing for thousands of fans, the Tom DeLonge Stratocaster is built to withstand the rigors of touring and studio use. Premium tonewoods, quality hardware and precision craftsmanship ensure this guitar will inspire for years to come.

I've wanted this guitar for 20 years
To start, I was pretty nervous ordering when I saw reviews of the QC. I ordered the day after release and it was already backordered. My guitar arrived the day they said it would. After looking it over closely, it's great. I'm guessing they addressed the QC issues on the second batch. I have the Graffiti Yellow and it's exactly as I remember from 2002. This guitar is just so fun. The pickup is a pretty high output, bright, crunchy sound. If you are a nostalgic blink fan and have watched the used market over the past years like I have, grab this. Ton of character, very different than other Strats.

Really bad qc
I mean this probably isn't the first time you've heard about the quality control on these things but it really is pretty bad. I would just hold off on this one because it seems that I'm not the only one this is happening too. There are dents and stuff all over the place and a scuff mark on the bottom next to the input jack. I already returned it.

Better than what I expected

I bought this guitar for teenage me being a fan of Blink 182. I kept os for it's versatility. The humbucker, while hot, sounds clean when tamed and the volume knob does not loose tone as you lower it. Bought for nostalgia, kept for playability

About this guitar on Black Friday in-store and I couldn't be more happier with the product that I received. It plays amazing. It looks amazing. I had no issues with anything on this guitar when I purchased it. Bottom line I would definitely recommend this To anyone wanting a good quality guitar at a fair price.

As an owner of a 2001 and a 2023 Tom Delonge Stratocaster I can honestly say that the 2023 is superior to the original. Lighter weight Satin neck feels smoother than the original gloss
100% Worth It!

It's gorgeous, plays great and the Invader pickup does exactly what it's meant to do. Great crunchy tone across the board. Single vol/gain knob is surprisingly versatile. Great for new players to just plug in and play, as well as vets looking to emulate a range of pop-punk tones.
Love it

I've wanted this since I was a kid. It gives you that classic blink tone and looks beautiful.
I like the way it sounds but, QC is weak

Sounds great looks great but, upon further inspection there were quite a few QC issues. Random ding for no good reason. The string alignment is off from the bridge being mounted wonky. And the volume knob looks cool but it's plastic. Still considering a return while I'm in my 45 days.
