I recommend these strap locks for all electrics & acoustics.

These easy to use locks by Fender are great for those of us who stand a lot while playing. I have used these on all of my guitars throughout the years because the use of tools is not needed to install. Highly recommended.

"It's About Time"!!

It's about time. European guitarists have been using "Grohlsh Beer" pint bottle rubber washers to secure their guitar straps for decades. These are a good take on that notion. I really like using Fender Strap Blocks as opposed to switching the strap buttons to the locking types that are on the market ie - Schaller, Dunlop etc... I just wish Fender would make them more durable as I have had some dry out and some split. I suppose what I'm trying to say is I wish they lasted longer. I have bought at least (6) packs since Fender put these out. I shouldn't have to keep buying new ones this frequently.

Keep your strap locked in without any modification to the guitar itself. Pretty simple idea, but it works very well.

  • Works splendidly most of the time

These guitar strap washers prevented my Epiphone Sheraton from crashing to the floor. Previously, it often slipped off its guitar straps. It would be nice if the strap washers were available in black only, instead of a black pair plus a red pair. The latter color is a distraction for most guitars. Also, it does not work 100 percent of the time. My Gibson 355 ejected one of the washers, although the strap stayed in place.

There's not much to it to hold the srap on the guitar well maybe even a little to well. My only issue is the strap doesn't spin at all.

Hi, do these just work with fender type buttons, or would it work with a G&L also?
Thanks!
