Description

Fender Steel Guitar Pick 4-packs are the ideal way to get the picks that improve tonal quality yet have the same feel you're already used to. Steel picks are composed of a specially formulated stainless steel material that provides the flexibility of a traditional pick, but the exceptional brightness and clarity of a metal pick. The classic Fender 351 shape has polished edges for a smooth feel that will be gentle on your strings, while textured ridges on both sides allow for an excellent grip.

Various sizes available. Please see drop down menu to the right.

I originally bought the picks to use as jewelry pendants, but I had to try them to see how they sounded first. I'll say the picks are definitely not acoustic-friendly, but they do offer a great sound boost to electric guitars. I gave one to our lead guitarist at church, and he won't use anything else now.

I played with one of these for about an hour the night I got them. I did have to alter my technique slightly to avoid a scraping sound, but after 5 minutes, I no longer noticed the difference. These picks definitely do give you more edge on your attack which is very helpful with a waist deep in Mississippi mud kind of tone (which I have). Though I do like them, I do not see these steel picks being as versatile as nylon. In a nutshell, so long as I can keep track of these 4, they will likely last my whole life, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Happy Picking
