I wish I had bought this a few months ago

A few months ago I bought a Shubb capo based on online reviews but wished it didn't need two hands to put it on and take it off. I ended up buying this one as an alternative, and even with a few uses, it's become my main capo. Not only is it from the company that made my guitar, I can store it on my headstock, which makes it even easier to use. I can't tell you how many times I had to remember where I had put my Schubb capo after using it the last time, even after putting it in a specific place.

probably not buy this again

I'm a singer/songwriter. There are a few songs (and, I'm sure a few more to come), that I use a capo on. Honestly, price was a factor, as a tend to lose them before the week is over. I would buy the next model up next time, however. This particular one isn't as easy "hold and change" as the model that is larger. That alone is worth a couple extra bucks

I bought this as my first capo when I started playing guitar for the price and because I recognized the brand name. All in all, it worked pretty great at the beginning. It was easy to move around with one hand, but eventually, it wasn't tight anymore, and now it makes my strings buzz. Not bad for the price, but also not the best.

  • Hard to put on, cheaply made

This capo was made in China.

How will this capo work on a Gibson 12 string electric?

    Open Reply - Ronald
The arm portion of it isn't long enough for a 12 string. You would need one specifically designed for a 12 string.

I'm a new guitarist trying to learn to play well. i've heard from other players that I should use a capo. My question is how to fasten this item onto my right handed Rouge Fine Instruments guitar. In advance thank you for your answer. thankfully, Kayla McClendon

Simply open the Capo and clip between frets.
