Unbelievable quality for the price

Amazing little amp for the money. Had it for a few months now and really enjoy it. I'm holed up in a hotel for a and bought this amp and a 149 dollar Squier Bullet Mustang (cool little guitar too) to bang on in my spare time. First off, the preset clean tone is amazing. Best I have heard out of the box from a preset, regardless of price range. No joke. If you have half a brain and have ever used a multi-effects pedal before you will figure out how to customize the tones in about 3 seconds. I do not understand the online reviews that say its not user friendly. Every effect on this amp is customizable, and they sound great. They are extremely responsive to changes, meaning if you adjust the chorus you are going to hear a significant and in depth change, unlike the cheap pedals you will use. No, you are not going to take this amp on tour, but that is not what it is made for you cheap effer. However, this will probably be the last practice/small gigging amp you will buy for a while. Easily suitable for an intimate venue such as a coffee shop or church if you are not going to be blowing through an ungodly, unnecessary amount of presets during your music pastors overly complicated version of "I can only Imagine." This amp weighs about .05 pounds. Its crazy lightweight and will easily travel. The knobs feel strong and of good quality. Have not had a chance to really crank it up so I am not sure what it will do when it is fully driven, I do know however that when you adjust the channel volume it seems to simulate driving a tube like an analog amp does, and will change the tone of the preset a bit. Kinda cool. Again, I don't have great expectations of this amp blowing the walls off my practice space with my Limp Bizkit cover band because that is not what it is made for. Overall a 10 out of 10 in my opinion in this price range. Killer amp.

whats the point of a digital amp with connectivity issues?

The problem is, the cord they give you is power only and doesn't transfer data, so they kind of set you up for failure. Spent a while trying to figure out why the amp isn't connecting only to find that info on a message board. Also, the information they provide is limited; it seems they are phasing out support for the LT-25 to ensure you spend more on the GT. Additionally, when it came out of the package, it had debris in the mini USB port and from other websites, it sounds like the usb port can be a bit touchy (probably because people are jamming objects in the port to get the debris out). SO, I ask you, what is the point in buying a digital amp if it doesn't support Bluetooth, and has faulty connectivity issues? Why bother getting subpar gear from a brand that doesn't offer reliable support for the product? I guess I should have bought the warranty, but with a brand like Fender, I would expect the gear to work coming out of the box. If you go to the webpage for the LT, it's completely blank too. I guess I learn time and time again that "budget" gear is a tricky word for a money trap. I should have done my research. Time to go fight my local guitar center employees for a return; but guitar center is a rant for another day. "I had the exact same issue with my brand new LT25 not detecting on any PC / Mac but I've just fixed it - I couldn't believe it but the problem lies 100% with the factory cable! The micro USB cable that comes with the amp absolutely does NOT work as it doesn't appear to transfer data. I had to swap it with a different one. Once I did that, Windows 11 detected it immediately and sync'd it with the Fender Tone app on my computer. I did not have to install any separate drivers or change any Windows audio settings to do this." - Reddit user

    I needed something to play at home, and a reason to bring my pedal board home from church. Although this has amp modeling (and decent at that), I really only need the clean channel to run my board through for practice at the house. The headphone jack makes my wife happy. Good sound, more than loud enough for the house, and you can't beat the price for what you get. Overall, amazing value, and I'm glad I'm not hauling my heavy tube amp home from church.

    It is very good for beginners, but after a good several months you realize the tone isn't very versatile, but it still sounds great if you know what you're doing. Super easy to use, but it doesn't sound AMAZING. Definitely not 5 stars, but 4 stars seems fair.

Here’s what you need to know: 1. Can You Plug a Looper Into the Mustang LT25? Yes, but with important limitations: The LT25 has no effects loop (FX loop) — meaning you can only plug pedals in front of the amp, through the main input. That means the looper will capture the guitar signal before amp modeling and effects, not after. 2. Can You Switch Effects on the Amp Without Affecting the Loop Playback? No, not reliably. This is the big limitation: Since your looper is placed before the modeling/effects section, any change to amp or effect settings will also affect the looped signal. For example, if you loop a clean rhythm and then switch to a distorted patch for a solo, the rhythm loop will also become distorted. 3. Workarounds or Better Solutions Use a looper pedal with stereo outs and split to two amps (LT25 for live playing, another for loop playback). Use a different amp with an FX loop, where the looper can sit after the preamp — preserving tone changes. Alternatively, use a multieffects processor with amp modeling and looping (like a Line 6 HX Stomp or Boss GT-1) and run the LT25 as a flat speaker.     Bass Guitar Not recommended. The LT25 is not designed to handle bass frequencies, and pushing it with a bass can damage the small 8” speaker or sound muddy/distorted in a bad way. Better option: Use a dedicated bass amp or run through a PA system with a preamp or DI box. Electric Guitar Yes, absolutely. This is exactly what it’s designed for. It has a range of amp models and effects tailored for electric guitar tones. Acoustic Guitar Not ideal, but possible in a pinch. The amp models and EQ are designed for electric guitars, so an acoustic will likely sound unnatural or “boxy.” If your acoustic has onboard EQ, you may be able to dial in something usable.

Preset system: It comes with 30 presets (and you can create more), which cover a wide variety of tones. You can switch from clean to distorted with just a knob twist or footswitch (if you add one). Practice-friendly: Has a headphone output for quiet practice and USB for recording or using Fender’s Tone app for editing patches on your computer.
