The Fender Mini '65 Twin Amp brings full-sized Fender tone to the palm of your hand. This 1W, single-channel amplifier drives dual 3" speakers to deliver the unmistakable sound of a Blackface Twin in a portable package. One-Watt, Single-Channel Design Packs a Punch

Don't let the Mini '65 Twin Amp's diminutive size fool you—it has plenty of power under the hood. A single 1W amplifier drives two 3" speakers, pumping out full, rich tone with satisfying low end. While small in stature, this mini amp provides enough volume for practicing, recording or intimate live performances. A 1/4" input accommodates electric guitars, basses and other instruments. Like its full-size inspiration, the Mini '65 Twin Amp provides simple but effective tone shaping controls. Adjust the Gain knob to set the input level and overdrive amount. Turn up the Volume knob to increase the overall loudness. And shape the EQ with the Tone knob, rolling it off for a warmer, bassier tone or boosting highs for extra cut and chime. These controls make it easy to conjure the tone of a vintage Blackface Twin or forge your own signature sound.

    Grabbed this little amp because I'm the only electric in a beginners class full of Acoustics and was getting drowned out by their sound. Upon having the amp in my hands in manufacturer packaging I could hear & feel something loose inside. Another review I read on here saying their amp arrived in-box from the manufacturer with a loose speaker- I opened the back of my amp to find the same issue. Not being concerned about warranty for this little amp- disassembly was easy as pie using a medium length Phillips Head screwdriver. Like the aforementioned other review I found the left inside speaker had come completely loose from it's mounting clips. I re-mounted it and made sure it was centered in the molded mounting brackets and screwed everything back together. Also with the back open I found quite a bit of loose hot glue from the assembly process I simply picked out of the housing. With the amp re-assembled I was finally able to take the little amp for a test run. Sound is not bad considering it's a tiny 1-watt thing. Gain feels maybe a little overboard for the little amp but I suspect it is fine for limited use. The swing-back stand is a little tricky to get loose but seems to balance the amp housing relatively well. The belt clip is a little tight, they could increase the upward angle of the clip to allow it to more easily slide over belts/pockets/straps you want to hang it on. I got this little thing to elevate my plucking to just-audible next to a room full of Acoustics and for that measure this little amp works well.

    had it shipped to my house, one of the speakers was loose inside, had to open it up and re mount it, got to playing on it and it had a horrible buzzing sound, could be because things were bouncing around inside and it didnt like it not sure, but not too nice

    It sits on my desk! It's so fun and easy to just plug and play for a few minutes. The volume is perfect for just playing in my office and not bothering the rest of the hall.

    Basically anything with a pickup. You just need to make sure you have the correct input on the instrument.

    Yes, it would 'work' but a ukulele is an acoustic instruments and as such an amp for it would need to be properly voiced. It's why acoustic guitar amps are in a whole other category than electric guitar amps. Take a look at the ' Kustom KUA10 10W 1x6 Ukulele Combo Amplifier with Pickup and Amp Strap'.
