Spruce and Mahogany Tonewoods
Constructing this concert ukulele into the classic Fender Jazzmaster shape are spruce and mahogany tonewoods. With a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this Fender Fullerton Jazzmaster creates a rich and full concert ukulele tone. The classic Jazzmaster’s SpaceAge offset shape was originally introduced in 1960 and remains popular among players today.
Classic Fender Headstock
The headstock on the Fender Fullerton Jazzmaster ukulele replicates the Telecaster guitar’s iconic headstock shape, giving it an authentic Fender look. The 15.04” scale neck is constructed from maple with a walnut fingerboard for enhanced playability and response. The no-tie bridge makes string changes easy when compared to traditional ukulele bridges that require special knotting.
Fender-Designed Preamp System
Making the Fender Fullerton Jazzmaster even more electric is its Fender-designed, custom-voiced preamp system. This unique preamp incorporates separate volume and tone controls, along with a built-in tuner. Other notable features of the Fender Fullerton Jazzmaster ukulele include sealed tuning machines, nickel hardware, a no-tie bridge, 1-ply tortoiseshell body binding and pickguard, synthetic bone nut and white dot inlays.

This Ukulele looks amazing and sounds great too. My wife loves the plug-in jack and tuner. It has a rich sound whether it's acoustic or amplified. For those who want to know, it is Concert size. That info came in handy when the GC rep ordered a gig bag for us.
Sometimes you just want to play for fun.

I got the 3 color sunburst. Sounds & resonates much better than expected. Works great also plugged into my Fender LT25 amp and effects. I would definitely recommend - a lot of fun.

Good for sitting around and practicing. I like the look of it, the sound and size. Cool looking Uke comes with a price though. It shows scratches easily. The paint easily chips. I ended up putting a vinyl sticker over top of a random chip I found one day. Good luck finding a case that will fit this oddly shaped Uke. Must be played sitting down because no strap can be attached to it. The uke functions great and sounds awesome on the amp. I love the no twist bridge. It just seems like you sacrificed practical things for the fancy look.
What a pleasure to play!

I can't seem to put it down. It has great sound unplugged and even better sound plugged in with a true Tone control and not just bass/treble as is found on my other electric ukes. The offset body makes it very comfortable to hold and play.
Great looking and sounding uke!

When I received the Uke it was tuned perfectly upon arrival. The intonation was perfect at the 12 fret and chords sound full and have good sustain. There were some slight inconsistencies in the finish and I noticed some rattling on the inside when I played chords loudly. Other than that it sounds amazing. It is fun to play and looks inviting for anyone who sees it for the first time. Plugged in it sounded best with the tone rolled off because it doesn't retain quite the same woody texture of the acoustic sound only. Strings that it came with are punchy and clear. Overall a great purchase and would recommend for guitar players, collectors, and entry level players. This might not be good for professional level players who want the best sound and build quality possible. Still a great buy for anyone who thinks they might enjoy it. It's a great talking piece and invites people to pick it up and play. Side note: it fits the Fender Tenor Uke gig bag

What is the circumference of the headstock? Is it smaller, like an acoustic concert uke? Or larger like a full-blown Jazzmaster?
It is smaller. It's basically a Jazzmaster headstock, but scaled down to Uke size.submitted5 years ago
