Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups deliver hot high-output Telecaster guitar tone with a dash of sparkling Stratocaster guitar character. Each pickup is tailored to its position (neck and bridge) to achieve its individual sonic character. The neck pickup's taller bobbin is designed to accommodate more windings, combined with a slightly shorter bridge pickup bobbin for dark full-bodied midrange.

    Adds some serious Strat vibe to your neck pickup and make the bridge pickup more rock and less country. If that's not your style, these pickups aren't for you. They still have hum when overdriven/distorted but are less sensitive than others I've played with.

    Replaced VMod 2's. Neck is stratty and very pleasing. Bridge is punchy and strong, like the bridge on an ES 335, but with a bit of Tele. Both have good output. They sound great together in series as well. I'm really glad I got them.

    Fantastic pickups that have really transformed my tele. Both pickups have a distinct sound and both produce very usable sounds.
