The American Professional II Series | Fender

Description
This Fender American Professional II Stratocaster electric guitar features an HSS pickup configuration with a maple neck, offering players a versatile instrument for any style. Fender’s latest refinements—within the American Pro II Series—to a time-tested design produce an evolved and specialized player's guitar.

Revolutionary V-Mod II Pickups
This American Pro II Strat’s revised single-coil pickups add nuance and warmth to the signature chime of the instrument's neck and middle positions. The bridge pickup incorporates a revolutionary humbucker with a coil-splitting function to produce searing hard rock tones or classic single-coil sound with the flip of a switch.

Sleek Alder Body
This Stratocaster’s alder body provides a lightweight yet resonant foundation for full tone. Its contours offer playing comfort, while the tonewood itself helps produce a balanced sound with articulate lows, present mids and shimmering highs.

Maple Neck and Fingerboard
The maple neck and fingerboard result in a smooth playing experience. The neck's satin finish and sculpted heel provide a natural feel, while the fingerboard's rolled edges increase comfort. The neck's profile and fingerboard's radius offer familiarity and playability.

2-Point Synchronized Tremolo
The upgraded 2-point synchronized tremolo, with its cold-rolled steel block, provides players the ability to perform expressive string bends and dives. The tremolo system retains sustain, clarity and articulation while adding shimmer to the high end.
Players seeking an evolved and specialized instrument will appreciate this American Professional II Strat for its blend of classic features and fresh design. Fender has created an instrument with features and appointments tailored to the needs of the discerning guitarist.

This is the Swiss Army knife of guitars! It will do just about anything, and do it very well! I'm selling guitars off now. Get one. Love the pickups.

Just got this guitar recently, it's beautiful, plays great, stays in tune, sounds amazing, and it's so versatile! There's the coil tap on the 2nd tone knob and that allows me to get some twang and some interesting sound with boost and distortion. And even though I'll mainly use this for church praise band, I played some smashing pumpkins on it and it definitely blew that tone out of the water!
Solid guitar after a few tweaks

My first Strat that I haven't hated. Excellent sound, but the bridge humbucker is a little thick. I like a PAF style and this didn't seem to breathe as much. Was just a little thicker than I'm used to. All positions are usable though, just needed to tweak amp a bit. Had to do a little nut filing to prevent binding when using the tremolo as well. Mystic Surf Green is an amazing color. I was expecting a flat color but it is sparkly and seems to shift colors based on lighting. Used it during our band's livestream and it looked and sounded ace. Hard shell case is built like a tank and it's a nice bonus that it's included for the price. Excellent value, excellent looks and tone, and the playability with the satin neck and rounded edges on the fretboard make it a truly top-notch instrument.

Could you please let me know the weight of this particular guitar?
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 7 – 8.5 lbs.submitted4 years ago

Hi, Could describe what blemished this guitar have? There is no description.
I’m sorry, we have no way to know what the blemish is. The blemishes will be perhaps minor scratches, average handling wear. There will be no effect on playability or sound.
