Fender Custom Shop Rory Gallagher Signature Stratocaster Heavy Relic Electric Guitar 3-Color Sunburst

The Fender Custom Shop Rory Gallagher Signature Stratocaster Relic is an exact replica of Gallagher’s heavily worn, iconic 1961 Strat. FCS designers met Donal Gallagher—brother of the late great guitarist—in Los Angeles in 1997 and received his coveted instrument, initially building 40 replicas for European sale but soon becoming besieged with requests for more.

The Rory Gallagher Signature recreates that iconic guitar down to the details—from the heavily worn three-color Sunburst alder body, to the five Sperzel tuners and one mismatched Gotoh tuner, to the 12-fret dot marker replaced with white plastic rather than the original clay. It features a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets, as well as three custom-wound ’60s single-coil pickups and a 6-saddle American Vintage synchronized tremolo. Additional appointments include aged chrome hardware, slot-head mounting screws in selector switch, a synthetic bone nut and aged white plastic parts. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
