Vintage Vibe With Modern Playability
From the moment you lay eyes on the Postmodern Tele, its distinctive aged aesthetic hints at the sonic magic within. The two-piece ash body sports a Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish, wearing the hard-earned scuffs and dings of a road-tested guitar. The quartersawn maple neck boasts a supremely comfortable '60s-style oval C profile ideal for any playing style. While the relic'd maple fingerboard radiates vintage mojo with its 9.5" radius and 21 narrow tall frets, you'll appreciate the effortless playability it provides.
Iconic Tones From Revered Pickups
This Postmodern Tele is a tone machine, powered by a pair of revered Fender Custom Shop pickups. The hand-wound loaded '51 Nocaster single-coil in the bridge delivers that classic glassy Tele bite and quack that has graced countless iconic recordings. The Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker in the neck position serves up thick, vocal tones perfect for leads and rhythms. Dial in any sound from bright and funky to warm and smooth using the dual-stack Tele wiring and 3-way blade switch. An angled switch tip and electro-socket jack provide a slick, modern touch.
Vintage-Meets-Modern Appointments
With its meticulous construction and premium materials, the Postmodern Tele was built to inspire for decades to come. A 3-ply black pickguard and vintage-style tuners capture a classic Tele aesthetic. The '58–'63 Tele bridge features compensated brass RSD saddles for precise intonation and singing sustain. A bone nut and wing string tree ensure optimal transfer of string vibrations for clear, resonant tone. From its contoured neck heel for effortless access to the upper frets to its deluxe hardshell case, every detail exudes Fender's legendary craftsmanship.

Whether you crave vintage-soaked Tele bite or thick, modern humbucker tones, the Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Telecaster has you covered. Its dual pickup configuration and versatile switching let you dial in the perfect voice for any genre or playing situation.
