The Fender Custom Shop Merle Haggard Signature Telecaster is a modified Tele Thinline featuring select alder wings with tone chambers, laminated figured maple top and maple center block. It includes a figured maple “C”-shaped neck with deep-carved heel, 22 medium-jumbo frets and black dot inlays. Channel the Hag’s sound with two Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil Tele pickups, custom four-way switching and a 6-saddle strings-thru-body Tele bridge with block steel saddles. Additional appointments include deluxe cast/sealed tuners with pearl buttons, gold hardware, mother-of-pearl “Tuff Dog” headstock inlay, Ivoroid body binding and Merle Haggard’s signature on the headstock. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
