The Fender Custom Shop Limited-Edition Precision Bass Special Journeyman Relic celebrates iconic Fender sound and style with its meticulous construction and vintage-inspired features. It has a 2-piece select alder body with a Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The quartersawn maple neck is shaped in a smooth, comfortable profile, and topped with a round-lam rosewood fingerboard, 20 medium-jumbo frets and white pearloid block inlays. The limited-edition P Bass’s tone is powered by a duo of Custom Shop hand-wound pickups—a ’75 Jazz Bass at the bridge and a ’65-’70 Precision Bass at the middle—with master tone and individual volume controls. Additional appointments include vintage-style “lollipop” tuners, an RSD-designed HiMass bridge, bone nut and nickel/chrome hardware. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
