Fender Custom Shop 60 Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose Heavy Relic Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar Black
The Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster HSS captures the spirit of a hard-gigging, road-worn Strat from the '60s but updates it with versatile pickups and a Floyd Rose tremolo. With its relic'd finish and classic appointments, this guitar has an unmistakable vintage vibe. But modern tweaks like the humbucking bridge pickup and expressive vibrato system make it right at home on today's stage.
Relic'd to Perfection With a Worn-In Look
The heavy relic finish on this Custom Shop Strat instantly transports you back to the '60s. Dings, dents, rusted hardware and worn-in spots replicate decades of playing wear. You'll swear this guitar's been through countless smoky clubs and rowdy festival shows. But the authentic aging was meticulously applied by Fender's expert relic team. Even the maple neck feels like it's been broken in over years of playing.
A Resonant Foundation With Alder Tonewood
Underpinning the vintage vibe is an alder body specially selected for its tonal richness. Alder has been a Fender staple for decades thanks to its balanced resonance. The increased mass of this dense tonewood lets every note ring out and breathe. You'll experience enhanced sustain and presence whether you're chopping staccato rhythms or bending leads. As your playing dynamics intensify, the alder resonates with a full-bodied response.
Signature '60s Strat Feel and Playability
When you grip the '60s-spec oval C neck, you'll instantly connect with the iconic Fender playing feel. The vintage-radius rosewood fingerboard conjures the broken-in, played-in character of a well-loved instrument from the era. Frets are perfectly leveled for effortless string-bending and vibrato. Every bend, hammer-on and pull-off feels like second nature on this time-honored neck profile.
Versatile Pickups From Vintage to Modern Tones
Three specially-selected single-coil pickups cover a wide range of classic and contemporary tones. Dual '60s Strat pickups in the neck and middle positions faithfully reproduce the glassy chime and quack that put the Strat on the map. But the Seymour Duncan TB-4 Jeff Beck humbucking bridge pickup adds a hot-rodded overdrive voice when you need more girth and output. The 5-way blade switch and treble-bleed circuit make it easy to dial in the perfect tone for any genre or playing style.
