Anyone who wants there "number one" this is it . I bought this with full expectation of taking out the Hand Wound Texas Specials , because #1 I don't play much genuine blues style & 2. Elimination of 60 cycle hum . But I immediately realized these are what I have been missing , certain things lacking / missing when using noiseless , I finally have a real & alive strat sound & response that no matter what gen it is , noiseless can't mimic . Also regarding finish , nitro lets it breathe , my guitar actually speaks & I can hear it if that makes sense , compared to "muffled / covered up" sound prior .
THE Strat to have!

Everything about this strat is absolutely perfect, I was a little reluctant when I saw it had Texas specials but after playing it through my all original 65 super reverb and checking the resistance of the pickups which measured 5.6k neck 5.8k middle and 6.25k for the bridge it's not some way overwound monster single coils but rather way mellow and gorgeous sounding set that is simply put, the most on point strat tones I've ever heard. What sold me was the feel and playability of the guitar in general, so much so that I purchased it without having ever plugging it into an amp at the store! The neck is like nothing I've ever felt before but in a very good way, it almost encourages you to wrap your thumb over to play the big E string, and the jumbo frets make bends super smooth and easy. The only thing I've done is added the 4th trem spring which brought it down against the body just the way I like it and swapped out the strings for Ernie ball heavy bottoms 10/52 set and tuned it down to Eb and went to town. If you've been looking at this strat and have the money DO NOT hesitate to get one, by far the best strat I've ever played in terms of tone and playability and I've played both new and old strats, some play great some sound great but this one checks all boxes!
