    I have used these for years. Great on my maple DW's. I didn't care for them on my birch drums since the issues they address is already are present in a birch shell. They shorten the overtones and naturally pitch higher with out choking the tone. Best kept secret in drum tone IMO.

    This is the first time using a coated reso head but they are great easy to tune and really sound good. I'm using them with G2 coated batter heads on my toms and it's a great combo.
