Great tone and durability...

These heads are the best I have ever played. They have a great warm tone and sustain. They last longer than any other skins I have used in the past. A great value!

Durable, but sound horrifying.

I like Evans heads, don't get me wrong. But these are SO SO SO dead sounding... more dead sounding than Pinstripes. If you want every last bit of resonance taken out of your toms, these are the heads for you! You are left with this weird dead mid-range "tone" (if you want to call it that). I tried these heads on oak, maple, and composite (REMO) shells and they pretty much sounded equally disappointing on them all. Kind of like putting 10 pieces of Moon Gel on tom head. On a positive note, these are cool looking and really durable.
