collapse expand iconDescription

The Ernie Ball woven Straight/Straight nickel-plated 1/4" instrument cable, a high-performance cable built to withstand the rigors of live performance and frequent use in the studio. Constructed with oxygen-free copper conductors and Ernie Ball's patented woven jacket, this 20" cable provides maximum flexibility, durability and interference-free signal transfer. Its dual-layer shielding and nickel-plated 1/4" plugs ensure clear, noiseless tone for guitars, basses and other instruments. Whether you're shredding on stage or meticulously tracking in the studio, the Ernie Ball Woven cable has you covered with a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.

Oxygen-Free Copper Conductors for Enhanced Signal Clarity

At the heart of the Ernie Ball Woven cable are high-purity oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, chosen for their ability to maximize frequency response and signal integrity. OFC copper has a superior conductivity rating compared to regular copper, resulting in a cable that accurately transfers your instrument's full range of tones with zero loss or coloration.

Patented Woven Jacket Adds Flexibility and Durability

Ernie Ball's patented woven jacket construction gives this cable unparalleled flexibility and durability. The custom woven fibers are designed to withstand repeated twisting, kinking and extreme manipulation without damage. This innovative jacket also helps eliminate handling noise, microphonics, and other undesirable artifacts that can plague standard instrument cables.

Premium Components Provide Reliable, Noise-Free Performance

In addition to oxygen-free copper and a woven jacket, the Ernie Ball Woven cable utilizes premium components like nickel-plated plugs, dual-layer shielding and high-grade insulation. The nickel-plated 1/4" plugs ensure a tight, corrosion-resistant connection, while dual-layer shielding protects against radio frequency interference and other noise. High-grade insulation prevents signal degradation over the long lengths required for stages and studios.

This cable is very sturdy. The ends don't come loose or unscrew themselves. I'm very happy with the quality.

I bought the 20' to use for my effects loop. The braided cables are nice because they don't tangle like the rubber insulated cables especially when using the longer cables.
