Apparently I'm not a good match for most strings. I tend to kill string I've tried from most brands within a few hours. Assumed these would give me at least a few shows out of them, but went from sounding pretty good to thuddy and lifeless during the first 30 min-1 hour in at a gig. Not impressed.

I use Ernie Balll strings on all of my guitars, electric and acoustic. The Paradigms hold their tone for an extended period and rarely break.

So far these strings are great but I can't say much about their durability since I just changed them.

I was excited about extending the life of my strings and the packaging looked great. Guitar Center salesman told me to call him if they rusted or broke. I called after I broke a string mid performance after only having them 3 to 4 weeks. He directed me to the ernie ball website where you can file a claim. Once you do that you have to ship the strings on your own dime and then wait for a new pair. But why would I want a new pair if they broke quicker than my regular strings. Not worth the money or the headache of having to ship the bad strings back to them, and then waiting for another potentially bad set of strings.
