I have been playing 11's for years and just recently thought about switching to 10's before these dropped to give my fingers a break as I age. I decided to give these a try as a transition to smaller strings and they feel great. It is much easier to bend than the standard Ernie Ball 11's and sound great. I have always liked the innovative things that John Mayer has done and this might be the best/most practical. Already have put them on all my guitars. The tin you get with the 3 pack is also just cool.
The magic is gone.

I've been using daddario 10s on my Silver Sky and I love this guitar. I'm shocked how much I love it. Then I put these Silver Slinky strings on and it sucked the magic out of the guitar. The tension is noticeable and not in a good way. The tension does feel more even across the strings, but that's weird. I've never played a set like that and I don't like it. Just being honest. I wish I could say that these strings are amazing, but I can't. At least I got a cool tin. Now who wants these two sets I'm not going to use?
