Description

The Ernie Ball CradleTune utilizes a tuner and tripod to provide an integrated, portable solution for quick and easy setups, maintenance, or string changes. The tuner attaches to the tripod acting as the fixture which holds the guitar at the headstock. The tripod pivots for multiple angles of setup to accommodate different instrument types and sizes including electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, ukuleles, and more. The tuner can also be quickly detached from the tripod for use as a clip-on practice tuner. The tripod folds up for a compact, durable design that easily fits into a gig bag or instrument case.

Makes changing strings a little less of a headache

Used this to re-string a couple of guitars (one acoustic, and one electric). Worked great, once I realized that I needed the tuning mode to be "guitar. I wish you were able to tighten the cradle base to stay on the headstock better, but overall a nice value (around fifteen bucks).

Nope.

Read out on the tuner is dim - And slow to respond. More practical and more accurate just having my phone next to my guitar as I restring.

    Huge screen! Accurate. Only downfall is that it's a battery hog. I buy the batteries in bulk, so no biggie.
