    The strings have the particular tone that I'm looking for they sound great on the bass that I just bought especially the low end. But the highs are pretty clear and impressive.

    great strings for modern punk/rock/metal! very bright, great for that ampeg tube driven punk bass tone! Mark Hoppus uses these! someone said there flat wounds but there not , there more of a round wound/hybrid!
