Ernie Ball 2208 Slinky Nickel Wound Light Electric Guitar Strings

I use these on a modified ESP X-tone PA-1 thin body acoustic electric with a Roland GK-3 hex pick-up for guitar synth and pure hex output to retain an acoustic feel and tone with the wound G string harmonics and excellent tracking for synth work from the nickel windings..Normal acoustic strings work with the GK-3 however their output is weaker and do not drive the dynamics of synths as well as nickel-wounds... I get a very good acoustic sound from these, however, not the harmonics found in bronze... On this guitar, with an under saddle piezo pick-up, the sound is clear and articulate, with a different set of harmonics... It's a trade-off in this application, for better GK-3 tracking... the sound is subjective as far as acoustic harmonics goes, especially after processing, etc.... I will put these on another electric for more of a jazz feel and the harmonics of a wound G...
