The Ernie Ball 2006 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings are premium strings provide a crisp, ringing tone with pleasant overtones that acoustic players will love. Featuring a tin-plated hex steel core and 80/20 bronze wrap, the Earthwood Extra Light strings deliver a bright, balanced tone that projects well. The popular 80/20 bronze alloy, made of 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc, is a versatile acoustic string alloy known for its warmth and clarity.

Ultra-Light Gauge For Effortless Playability

With an ultra-light 10-50 gauge, the Earthwood Extra Light strings have a slinky feel that makes complex chords and fast solos a breeze to play. The lightweight construction reduces finger fatigue, allowing musicians to play for longer. The slinkier strings are also ideal for new players still developing callused fingertips.

Element Shield Packaging Keeps Strings Fresh

Ernie Ball's patented Element Shield packaging helps keep the Earthwood Extra Light strings as fresh as the day they were made. The special airtight and watertight polymer barrier locks out moisture and oxygen that can cause strings to oxidize and lose tone. As a result, the Earthwood Extra Light strings will stay bright and resonant for a long time after first use.

Precision Manufactured in California

Like all Ernie Ball strings, the Earthwood Extra Light acoustic guitar strings are precision manufactured in California to the most exacting standards. Strict quality control results in superior consistency and performance. Musicians can count on the same quality and tone from pack to pack.

Great Strings!

I purchased the Ernie Ball 2006 Earthwood EL strings for my Epiphone EJ-200 Acoustic. The strings have a very good sound with this guitar. I have had them on my Epi for a while now with a lot of playing time. These strings have lasted a longer than other strings I have used and sound just as good as the day I put them on!

I like the 11th better. The tens are little too light.

I like to strings in general very much. I've used the elevens in the 12s before. Decided to try the tens on one of my acoustic Electrics. But I like the 11's better. And the twelves on an acoustic guitar with no pick up.

I've been using Ernie Ball strings as long as I can remember. Because of an accident, my grip strength isn't the best. Having light gauges that stay in tune and sound good solidifies me as an Ernie Ball fan.

I have half a dozen acoustic guitars and a different brand of strings on each. The guitar chooses what strings it needs and my J200 chose Ernie Ball PB's. It is a 20 year old guitar that has been in the wars and it is very light and resonant so, for as big a body as it has, it sounds extra good with Ernie Ball PB extra lights. You read that right - extra light. Now stop reading and go play.

  • Perfect for my parlor guitar
