    I have used a number of Ernie Ball cables over the years and they've all been well built. That said, the rigors of playing live mean that cables can wear out or contacts can break. I had a contact go on one of these after a solid 5 years or so of service and it was super simple to just unscrew the connector barrel and re-solder it. It took me like 2 minutes.
