Epiphone

collapse expand iconDescription

The Epiphone Power Players SG is a 3/4-scale electric guitar inspired by the iconic Gibson SG. Built for players of all ages, the Power Players SG's 22.73" scale length and contoured mahogany body provide comfort and playability for those with smaller hands while retaining the full sound and style of a traditional SG.

Authentic Epiphone Humbuckers Deliver Classic Tone

The Power Players SG is equipped with Epiphone's 650R neck humbucker and 700T bridge humbucker, producing the warm, crunchy tone that SGs are known for. Individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup give you full control over your sound.

Fast, Low-Profile Neck Improves Playability

A slim mahogany neck and 12" fretboard radius make chording and soloing a breeze. The sculpted heel provides unimpeded access to the upper frets. Combined with its shortened 22.73" scale length, the Power Players SG's neck is tailored for smaller hands while still facilitating fluid playability for more experienced guitarists.

Premium Components and Construction

Epiphone didn't cut any corners designing the Power Players SG. It features quality components like ceramic magnet humbuckers, durable hardware and a sturdy bolt-on neck joint. A premium gig bag, strap, cable and picks are also included, making this a comprehensive starter pack for new players.

Your First Forever Guitar

While sized for smaller players or travel, the Epiphone Power Players SG is no mere beginner's guitar. Its high-quality build and authentic tone ensure this is an instrument you'll enjoy for years to come. The Power Players SG is an excellent choice for your first "real" electric guitar.

The feel for it is great for beginners, the tones it is capable of are very impressive, and very good neck. It does have a small neck but it's a good starter guitar for me. It made me want to keep playing guitar. Amazing guitar for the price. Looking for a good starter guitar or gift, go with this guitar.
