Epiphone

Description

This Limited Edition Epiphone G-400 Electric Guitar may nail the look and feel of the original '62 SG, but with its array of EMG pickups it delivers thoroughly modern tones. Fitted to the solid mahogany body is an EMG 81 pickup at the bridge and an EMG 85 at the neck, the exact array used by rockers like Zakk Wylde. Separate volume and tone controls for each of the high-output humbuckers give you complete control of your sound. The set, slim-taper mahogany neck has a rosewood freboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The deep double-cutaway lets you reach all 22 frets with ease.

EMG Pickups are excellent. Lots of gain. The neck is heavy and it unbalances the guitar. I had it set up immediately and it has great action. I am generally very pleased with the guitar

ever since i knew what a guitar was i wanted a sg type model. when i got this as a trade in for a dean razorback i deffinetly didn't miss the razorback, a great sound and pitch. easy to slide with the slim neck, love the color, never seen that that often. '64 is one of the models of guitar that will never die, i highly recommend this guitar to fello guitar players

This is my first Electric Guitar and I am learning! A friend of mine that has been playing nothing But Gibson for 20+ years has the Gibson SG Version of this Epiphone SG and He was Very Impressed with the Looks and the Tone!! Sounds just as good as His Gibson! I must say that it does have Awesome Tone! Watch out Zakk Wylde, I've got your Tone Monster and the Sky is the Limit!! I would definitely by this guitar if something happened to it!! Limited edition and you don't have to do anything to it! Buy it!

I play a lot of metal/hard rock and this guitar is perfect! The EMG pickups deliver such an awesome crunch, and the look with the black and alpine contrast is to die for. A definite steal for such a quality product.

I got this guitar about a month ago, and it is one of the nicest guitars i've ever played. The emg Tone quality is great. Delivers a huge blow when you first plug in! One thing im not to fond of on this guitar is while standing up the head falls to the ground making it very heavy and hard to play. Other then that it is a great guitar for an amazing price. I recommend this guitar to anybody.
