This Les Paul Special has 2 soap bar Pro P-90 single-coils, made to match Gibson’s original specifications. This includes Elektrisola magnet wire, sand cast Alnico V magnets and tin-plated brass base plates. Voiced for rhythm and lead, they provide a wealth of vintage tones that work equally well in a modern context. The dual volume and tone controls use CTS pots for a smooth and accurate response.Vintage-Style Hardware
The bridge on the Les Paul Special is a Lightning Bar wraparound with compensated saddles. Once modern concession: it's designed for an unwound G-string, unlike original models.
