Epiphone
Description

Epiphone proudly presents the Jerry Cantrell "Wino" Les Paul Custom electric guitar, a stunning signature model honoring the Alice in Chains guitarist and his iconic wine red axe. This weight-relieved mahogany beauty delivers the resonant tone and sustain that Cantrell's playing demands. Its figured maple top, chosen for its acoustic properties, provides an extra snap to every ringing note. The fast, 12" radius bound ebony fretboard enables fluid soloing across 22 medium-jumbo frets.

Pickups Churn Out Classic Rock Tones

The Jerry Cantrell "Wino" Les Paul Custom packs a pair of Epiphone's revered humbucking pickups—an Alnico Classic PRO in the neck and a hot 98T PRO in the bridge—for a range of tones from rich and rounded to aggressive. The Alnico Classic PRO's vintage-style coils and alnico magnets provide warm, balanced tone with enhanced definition. The higher-output 98T PRO, with its exposed coils, delivers tight lows, detailed mids and crunchy highs perfect for metal and hard rock.

Rock-Solid Hardware and Tuning Stability

Grover Rotomatic tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio help the Jerry Cantrell "Wino" Les Paul Custom electric guitar hold tune through the fiercest solos and heaviest dropped tunings. Its Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece further enhance sustain and intonation accuracy. Gleaming gold-plated hardware nods to the luxurious Les Paul Custom esthetic that Cantrell's "Wino" epitomizes.

Distinctive Cantrell-Inspired Touches

Personal touches abound on the Jerry Cantrell "Wino" Les Paul Custom, including a "Jerry Cantrell" signature on the truss rod cover and a "JJ" logo adorning the rear of the headstock. Its multi-ply body and fretboard binding are as opulent as the gold hardware. No detail was left behind in designing an instrument worthy of Cantrell's influential style and status in the rock world.

Included Hardshell Case for Maximum Protection

A custom hardshell case comes included with the Jerry Cantrell "Wino" Les Paul Custom for safe transport and storage of this prestigious signature model. Molded to fit the guitar's exact contours, the case helps shield it from dings, dents and environmental damage when not in use.

The neck is so smooth and fast. And oh my the alnico pickups sound beautiful. So good at chugging and also for crazy leads. Stays in tune thanks to the Grovers, and genuinely love this guitar so much. Can't forget that it's Jerry Cantrells signature guitar too!

This beauty here, was ready to play out of the box ! Nothing but good things to say. Fit and finish are phenomenal. Took it out of the case, and played for 4 hours ! Totally lost track of time because of the fun I was having playing it. If you're on the fence about buying it, just go for it ! You will definitely not be disappointed !!

Beautiful designed guitar with a nice case. Fits nicely in the hands, good fret board, comes with good strings, and sounds amazing right out of the box.

What a nice guitar. Big AIC and Jerry C. fan so this was a no brainer. The bridge pickup is hot and neck is soft but powerful. This has been an awesome purchase and im glad I bought it.

High quality, beautiful guitar, hard rock/metal guitar, awesome pups, great tone, great hard case included but the neck width is very slim so play it to see if it fits for you.

how much does this guitar weigh? (in lbs)

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 7.5 – 9.0 lbs

Hello! I'm planning on getting this guitar in the next few days for store pick up. Just wanna know if it comes inside a box because I'm gonna take it out of the States and don't wanna take it only in the case it comes with. So, can I get it opened and checked before and then inside the box and take it? Thank you!

I’m sorry. Our instruments ship in factory sealed boxes.
