This mighty 12" powered PA utilizes signature Electro-Voice sound engineering to deliver impressive output and fidelity. Patented Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) enhance coverage and clarity, simultaneously bolstering low-end reproduction for bass that's punchy and larger than life. The 12" woofer provides substantial low-end response down to 54Hz at -3dB, while the 1.4" titanium compression driver lets recorded music, backing tracks, vocals, guitars and more slice through dense rooms with artfully represented highs up to 18.5kHz. Despite its conveniently portable size, the ZLX-12P G2 generates a maximum SPL of 127dB, filling small- to medium-size venues with clear, powerful sound.

The ZLX-12P's built-in 4-channel digital mixer lets you dial in the perfect mix right from the speaker, with connections including a pair of XLR/TRS combo jacks, a dedicated Hi-Z input on channel two and stereo Bluetooth. QuickSmart DSP, powered by Electro-Voice sibling brand Dynacord, provides a one-knob compressor, as well as effects like reverb, chorus and delay. An auto-ducking feature reduces music volume when a vocal signal is present, and a 7-band graphic EQ is a convenient way of fine-tuning audio for live performance. With additional global and individual input presets, you can further mold your sound to the room easily.

QuickSmart Mobile also includes monitoring features like channel solo, so you can hear exactly what you need as you lock down just the right mix.     I bought a pair of these Electro-Voice ZLX-12P G2 speakers and mounted them on Proline SPS502 Speaker Stands, along with my Electro-Voice ELX200-18SP for my DJ setup. The sound is clear and full without the subwoofer, but of course the sub makes them come alive. Using the onboard DSP is easy to figure out as there is a setting to match up with the sub seamlessly. There is an app you can download to your phone to control them remotely but haven't needed it yet. Played a 3-hour party without any hiccups a mix of Hip/Hop, EDM and Deep house music. The speakers appear durable and solid, easy to carry by myself. #sweepstakes

    I've used the EV ZLX 12p G2 speakers for Karaoke and live acoustic gigs. The sound is full yet very clean mid and highs. I've used the WV ZLX 15p Gen1, and I think the 12in versions G2 sound cleaner and with some EQ can produce plenty of bass for most small to mid-sized events. They also are 4 pounds lighter and feel much easier to carry. On top of this the Bluetooth playback and stereo pairing without cables is great for small events or if you don't have a mixer.

    I use these as mains for my practice studio, they sound amazing. The new EV ZLX 12P G2's are a great update! The bluetooth works like a charm.

    One thing I like about the old ones is you plug them in and they Sound great. These new ones I don't want to have to mess around with an app on my phone or some settings on the back with the digital screen; I don't care. I just want the speakers to work.

    Hello. I have a Kawai digital keyboard model ES920. I wish to I wish to connect this keyboard to my Yamaha mixer. Then the mixer attaches to the ZLX speaker. Question: What are the basic settings on the rear of the ZLX-12P-G2 for this to operate correctly? I do not need exotic. I need a basic neutral setting; then I can adjust on my mixer. Thanks Peter
