Good tube
Electro Harmonix is one of the best brands.....This tube powers you up with a high amount of gain and no fuzz at all or feedback. Its really good I recommend it

Microphonic right out of the box... $(NO REFUNDS)$ !!!
I roll tubes (try several different tubes) in the amplifiers I repair. Most guitarists I have worked with have preferred the EH 12ax7 in the first pre-amp slot. I received an order from Guitar Center and the tube was microphonic right out of the box. (GC will not give a refund for tubes). I have knowledge of several now that have gone microphonic within very few hours of service. I do like the sound of the EH 12ax7. Reliability is of concern. To recommend these, I would have to caution the buyer of the mortality issues.

I use in various amps for backup, replacement or change in sound characteristics. So far I have installed two of these with good results.
I would and am buying 2 more.

It's a tube. But, it's a good tube for a vox adt 100.

I've been having trouble finding a tube that would work well in my preamp pedal. I finally found one! Other tubes sounded fuzzy and were unusable, especially at lower gain settings.
I would buy this product again.

In my Bugera Vintage V5 Infinium it is a big improvement over the stock tube. I like the low noise of the 12AX7. With a Jensen speaker the amp sounds great. The amp can be driven into saturation and cutoff when the gain is turned up past 6.

I don't understand your references. This is a 12AX7EH and will work fine in your Vox.submitteda year ago
