It's obviously pricey, but the results speak for themselves. I work for an organization that needed a podium microphone that would get used every day and would need to work whether people spoke directly into it or were off axis several feet away. It also needed to be something that wasn't overloaded when spoke too loudly into it. It does all this with perfect clarity. If the price tag doesn't throw you off, this mic will lower the sound guy's blood pressure. No feedback issues or cranking the gain or riding the fader. Set it and forget it. Worth the money.
