The SA-126 Standard features a chambered mahogany body with a mahogany center block for enhanced stability and resonance. This unique construction delivers a warm, balanced tone with a focused midrange and a tight low end, while the maple top adds clarity and articulation to the high end. The result is a guitar that's equally at home with heavy riffs, soaring leads and clean, articulate chords.

EVH SA-126 Humbuckers for a Wide Range of Tones

This electric guitar is equipped with a set of EVH SA-126 humbuckers, designed by Fender's resident pickup designer Tim Shaw in collaboration with the EVH team. These pickups deliver a wide range of tones, from pristine cleans to aggressive overdrive and searing distortion. Baked Maple Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard for Effortless Playability

Rolled the dice on this SA-126 Standard, as stores in my area only stock the Special. Glad I did, as I just can't see spending an extra grand for a MIM Special. The fit, finish, neck, and tone are flawless. Just as nice as my MIA Fender Ultra II Meteora. These humbuckers scream!!!
