Not what I expected, but worth the effort ...

The overall feel is excellent, but required some changes. The action was higher than traditional acoustics I've tried. I replaced the nut with a TUSQ XL Black and the saddle with a TUSQ Black. The saddle required significant trimming to adjust the action. The play-ability is now excellent. The thin-body feel is appealing. Subtract a star for the pre-amp battery being located in the body under the rear control cavity cover. This requires removing the control cavity cover to change the battery. There are much cheaper electronics that offer battery cases for simpler access, but parts are on the way to fix this flaw. This guitar projects well unplugged. Practicing without an amp is not an issue. The amplified sound is excellent and easily shaped with the tone controls. At loud volumes, this guitar did not suffer from any feedback in spite of the absence of a phase switch (it does not seem to be required). I was able to get feedback at very, unreasonably loud volumes. I would recommend this guitar for those who don't mind a little work. The tone from the all mahogany construction is worth the effort.

Design Flaw Rendering Some Of Them Useless - Never Again

The Guitar itself was beautiful. Bought the Tiger Eye Burst and it is stunning. Sounds great and feels comfortable like an electric. Problem is the Bridge location and type. Both mine were unable to intonate. ESP said it is what it is, sorry. GC Stepped up and took it back.

I have had this guitar for a few years now and I use it on stage at every show with other guitars. It does not sound like a real acoustic guitar, but it definitely has a great sound. It is comfortable to play and does not have feedback issues. My biggest headache were finding the right strings and saddle issues. I wound up with Martin SP 10 gauge. The saddle has been an ongoing problem. The stock saddle rode high and slowed me down. I had it replaced and lost my high E by at least half its volume. I am not convinced the stock saddle is the best but have not found a great one yet. I have tried a few from Graph Tech, no luck so far.

I personally think this guitar is great and people give it a bad wrap. The videos attached are what it sounds like with distortion, a clean tone, and unplugged. I think this guitar obviously does not have the same acoustic power of a regular acoustic but can carry its sound well. One thing to not is the bottom side is solid and the top side is hollow. The pickup sounds nice and the tuner on it works well if you have absolutely nothing else at your disposal. Overall I really enjoy this guitar. However I am having a few issues keeping this guitar in tune. The B and G string are being a bit finicky. That may may just be because of the strings not sure. Love this guitar especially for the price.

I wanted something that played like an electric but still had an acoustic sound. I wasn't crazy about the strings that came on it, so I put some D'addario silk an steel 11s on it and it plays and sounds great. It's not going to have the deep rich sound of a bigger acoustic, but it still sound pretty good for what it is. Where this really shines is plugged in to an amp. With a little compression, and reverb, it sounds awesome.
