Sound! There's a certain sound this has and I dolt know if it's the black winter pickup, the neck through construction or the 27" scale, but all together it sounds unique. I know it looks like an all blacked out metal machine (which it is that), but it's very versatile. It stays clean even under loads of effects. I thought the split coil would never be used, but I like the single coil sound A LOT!! I use it more split than as a humbucker for progressive fast sounds with a sharp attack. Overall I wish they made one for this price in a different color, but it's one of the best legit baritones you can get for the price. *Don't let pickup review videos confuse you. The black winter sounds as sweet as a 59' but handles distortion well and is still dynamic. Very very good for cleans. Best guitar I have for ambient tones as well.
