    Originally I bought the guitar version of this capo for my acoustic cause I really needed one. Then I bought a mandolin and thought that it couldn't hurt to buy the mandolin version. No matter what instrument it's for, the Dunlop Trigger Capo is the way to go.

    Most of these capos I've played with almost always wear down within a month. After that they only get the job done on the first few frets. There are better capos for the same price. I wouldn't recommend this capo for mainly acoustic guitar players.
