Dunlop Shy Slide
For twice the price, this would still be an excellent slide ring. The size is just small enough that it doesn't get in the way when playing runs, even with the slide finger; however, it's big enough to cover 3 strings, which lets you switch between almost any kind of slide playing and normal playing seamlessly. It does take a bit of getting used to, but once you do, it's like it's not even there. I have absolutely zero complaints with this item and will recommend it to anyone who asks, especially at such a bargain price.

Not bad, but...
It's an interesting concept, just poor execution. Don't get me wrong, it works well and fits any size finger but the scratchy side of the velcro HURTS. I'm really not sure why Dunlop chose to use all velcro and not a combination of velcro and elastic for the strap on this. Keep in mind, that if you are good at sewing, or know someone that is, you could easily get them to replace the strap with some elastic that would be much more comfortable. If it weren't for that, the Shy Slide might actually get 4 to 5 stars for it's usefulness.

Installing the Velcro was very difficult and took a lot of time. Then, when I put it on my index finger, I could not play notes or chords very easily - it did not flex enough. For me, this thing is useless.

Nice short slide for index finger or thumb held on by velcrose. Comfortable and stays in position nicely. Still need a bunch a practice getting the feel of using it on my Strat.. Much different than playing my homemade Hawaiian slide table guitar that I inherited from my grandfather, he also made it.

This slide works best for me if I use it on my middle finger, second joint. I can still fret notes with all fingers and then use the slide and dampen overtones with my index finger. It will easily cover two strings.
Every U-Bass deserves a Shy-Slide

This is my 2nd review of the Shy Slide. I have been using it with my U-Bass. I like it so much I wanted to up my star rating from 4 to 5. The slide is very light and easy to control so it is very easy to avoid accidentally fretting notes on the u-bass. So when used sparingly and tastefully this slide can make your bass ukulele sound like an upright bass.

Killer little slice, keep in on middle finger and fully free to fret, and slide when you need to do single or double notes... Very nice recommend it for anyone that doesn't have the time to change from a traditional slide during a song.
