Just a great Mandolin pick. Very high quality but on the higher price range of picks. I consider them well worth it. They last forever and really drive some punch on my mandolin.

I play mandolin occasionally, and always struggled with tremolo-picking the double-course strings. I always figured thinner picks would be better. Wrong! these stiff, rounded picks glide over the strings easily, and the built-in grip is a nice bonus. I was already familiar with the Primetone brand for guitar picks, so I didn't hesitate to order these, even though they're a little more money. Well worth it.

  • Love the round point and mellow sound.

I finally moved from the floppy .73 Dunlop nylons to a Dunlop Tortex 1.0. I never use the pointy end, I always use the rounder points of the pick. Now that I'm good with a stiff pick I wondered if I could find a pick (around 1.0) that already has the front end similar to the round points. This one does and I'm loving. it. You will get a more bass, mellow sound with these, but I like that. I also like the raised text for the extra grip, I never drop picks but it's more secure. I've been told that these were made for mandolins... I'm good with that. I like'em. Costs more, so I can't lose as many.

  • Great pick, excellent tones, best is grip

Killer pick, great to have the raised grip for older hands. The material is very expressive and love the rounded shape, never used the pointy end anyways.
