Dunlop Keb' Mo' Signature Guitar Slide

This is a great sounding slide with warm tone. You will not be disapointed. The only bummer is that it is on the heavy side and when your hands perspire there is a clay-like feel too it inside but other that that the tone is warm and great, that's what counts right?

I have to give the slide itself a middle of the road rating, as I have yet to try it out. I would have loved to try it when it arrived, but it was sent seperately from the rest of my order, and the packacking amounted to a plastic USPS bag; without any padding. So, the pieces looked nice, but I am waiting for the replacement to be sent to me. Upon requesting a different packaging type, I was told that they couldn't accomodate my request, which means that it will be sent in a bag, sans padding, again. As a former employee of GC, I found this experience to be beneath the level of quality and customer service I was used to when I was an employee. Hopefully the slide arrives, and intact, but if it does it will be despite the mistakes in packaging, not because of anything done correctly.

I thought that this slide was a blast to play with, until it slips off your pinky... I was surprised that it completely shattered after such a small "light" drop. I also had some trouble, with it getting stuck on my ring finger. The grippy interior makes it difficult to get a tight fit that you can actually take off. Maybe i'll have to try out one of those unbreakable brass slide next time. ; (

Excellent slide as described. the tone is very warm and the unfinished center with the roughness help keep the slide on your finger. It's a little big compared to the brass slides I use, but on the National-style steel body I love, it's a perfect marriage. Maybe one of the best online buys I've made.
