Dunlop
Description

The Dunlop EVH Tortex Pick in 1.14 mm gauge, Eddie Van Halen's signature pick of choice. Constructed of durable cellulose acetate, this pick produces a crisp, articulate tone with precise attack. Its sharp point and gripping edges allow for accurate single note runs and effortless string skipping. The Tortex's medium gauge provides enough flexibility for rhythm playing while retaining clarity for lead work. Whether you're a Van Halen devotee or simply seeking a versatile, performance-ready pick, the EVH Tortex constantly delivers.

Cellulose Acetate Construction for Articulation and Durability

The EVH Tortex Pick is made of cellulose acetate, a highly durable plastic known for producing a bright, articulate tone with precise attack. Its material and 1.14 mm gauge combine to accentuate pick attack and string separation. The Tortex's construction also provides longevity through frequent use and rigorous playing styles. For players seeking a pick that can keep up on stage and in the studio, the EVH Tortex is a solid choice.

Sharp Tip and Textured Grip for Control

A sharply pointed tip allows for accurate single note melodies, string skipping and quick changes between strings. The Tortex's tip glides across strings with ease while retaining enough point to facilitate articulate lead work. Its textured grip also provides extra control, allowing for confident pick strokes. For intricate solos, complex chords or aggressive rhythm playing, the EVH Tortex's design lends itself well to mastery and manipulation.

Medium Gage for Versatility

At 1.14 mm, the Tortex pick's medium gage offers enough flexibility for strumming and rhythm while still retaining clarity for single-note riffs and leads. Its gauged construction produces a balanced tone equally suited to chords, runs and everything in between. For players seeking a single pick to suit all needs, the EVH Tortex's versatile size should satisfy.

The standard style fits my hand and grip better than the jazz. To me, the 1.14 mm is where "zero flex" begins. The perfect compliment to all sounds ME.
