If you are looking for a effects/modeler this is the one to get. Don't get the versions with the pedal built in. It is killer on the back to lean over to adjust the knobs. I put this on my recording desk, and bought a Roland EV-5 expression pedal for the floor. Now the controls are at my hands, and the pedal is at my feet. The all in one units may seem like a deal, but trust me, you want the controls at your hands and the labels at eye level. Great product, great sound.

I got this pedal for christmas last year and it is excellent, I've had no trouble with it, except for the power supply had to be replaced, but the pedal is most excellent for it's purpose, which isn't gigging, overall great for the learning guitarist.

  • EXCELLENT for the creative musician.

It was perfect for me. Anything, with imagination and confidence of course, CAN BE MADE GREAT. I sure did that with this thing. I produce my own music and did fine with it. Got some interesting sounds, that gave interesting vibes to my music. I 've used it as a synth before. Great price for a right amount and even extra sounds/effects/extra instruments(it can be done and seen as such). The drum machine helped me work up my coordination and timing, as I didn't need a metronome. Made me feel like I had a band behind me at times, or on stage.

This was my first effects maker and I must say it sounds awesome! There is so much to do with it as you have 120 presets to choose from, and you can even customize and store some of your own presets. Only thing I find wrong with this is that unlike a pedal you can't make it sound right to continuously change the amount of effect you put in. I also feel that the drum effects aren't really worth anything. Anywho, it gives off awesome sound. The first time I plugged it in I felt it sounded like the real deal. And the price for it is very affordable. Though it is my first effects maker I think I may use it a while.
