Good Starter

I liked this bass because its very light which makes it very easy to carry, and transport. the playing of it is very good, it is very good for first time bass players and its price which is very good since it is low makes it an excellent choice. I played this on stage about 4 times and it sounds alot more like a Heavy Metal bass than alot of other brands. its very durable. it comes in out of this world colors which i liked alot because people would watch you. i recommend this bass to players who want to start off with something good and not one of those cheap ones for a "starter pack".

It's a decent starter bass but there are better alternatives

It's a decent starter bass for a first timer but you'd be better off starting with a Squier precision copy. The fret buzz can be ridiculous sometimes and the pickups aren't great, but it gets the job done with a smooth finger board.

My 10 year old son has been playing guitar the past 3 years and wanted a bass. He saved up for this one and loves the color and sound! I'd say great for anyone on a budget. It looks really cool in person! My only issue is one of the volume knobs falls off a lot. We'll try to buy new ones.

I wanted something not too expensive, entry and unique with quality. This bass hits all of those points and the finish on the color is INCREDIBLE. If you're looking for something fun and of quality, this is your ticket. What blew me away was the quality of the factory strings, I was skeptical at first to upgrade as I wanted to see what I was getting out of the box. For a Bass under $300, I am impressed. The body is solid, large compared to the short scale I had years ago. The only slight drawback with this Bass are with the tuning knobs, as they feel slightly loose for what I expected. Don't let that deter you though, I jammed for about three hours as soon as I opened and tuned it, they held the tune just fine with heavy use. I am not sure why this Bass has any negative reviews, as you truly are getting a heck of a deal with this baby. Either way, entry, travel or not, this is a phenomenal instrument for the price, you can't beat the quality found here. I would highly recommend this one over the Ibanez entry Bass' as this is a far better instrument.

This bass was a solid piece of work, It has a great tone, there is no fret buzz, the tuning process on it is a little wonky so please keep that in mind, it stays in tune for long periods of time and it makes a solid metal/rock sound. I play a lot of slipknot or system of a down and it has no fret buzz at Drop C sharp or Drop C, That in mind The tuning is weird for one reason. It has a little bit of a grace period before it will tighten or loosen the string. Other then that, no ill feelings towards this.

It depends on the part of the bass you're cleaning. Dunlop has a line of cleaning products that cover different aspects of it. The body, the neck/fretboard ect. That would be the best bet.

What are the dimensions of this bass? Asking so I can buy a cheap case for it. I don't know much about guitars it's supposed to be a gift for my boyfriend. I'm trying to budget because we want to move out soon but I know how happy this would make him! Someone stole his last one.

Overall dimensions are 6 x 18 x 50 in, it weighs 10 pounds. As for a case we have a couple of in house brands that aren't too pricey but they will protect the bass. Give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can get you set up with the perfect match.
