NO BRASS CLIP (picture of product is wrong!)

The product I was sent does not match the picture - NO BRASS CLIP, only a nylon string is attached to the dampit. False product picture really annoy me!!! This is NOT the same dampit that earned a good reputation form the past, they are now over priced and the quality has gone down hill.

Keeps my acoustic Taylor and Lowden adequately humidified during the dry winter months. Very easy to use, inexpensive, and doesn't drip inside the soundhole if you dry off the surface after moistening. Just remember to re-moisten it once every 3-5 days.

Easy to use, interior sponge wears out after 4 years depending on your water hardness. I have used for several stringed instruments for about 6 years (guitar, cello, mandolin, bouzouki). Make sure to blot dry the exterior after soaking so they don't drip on the interior of the instrument.

  • A must have!

Have used these in my guitars for many years. Absolutely necessary in many climates to protect the guitar's wooden structure and sound.
