    The DW 1/2" Tom Mounting Bracket for New 2012 Style Black Nickel is not directly compatible with your 1996 DW 16" suspended floor tom due to differences in mounting hole spacing. Pre-2012 DW Brackets: Feature a vertical hole spacing of 2 inches center-to-center. Post-2012 DW Brackets: Have a vertical hole spacing of 2 1/16 inches center-to-center.
