I saw some very positive comments about this pick on one of the Facebook mandolin sites. it is easy to play with, but it mutes the sound of my mandolin. If you are looking for a warm sound it might work for you, but, for me, the mandolin is all about brightness. I will never use these picks for my mandolin.

Really nice picks that have a smooth warm sound without subduing any treble. As others have said, these picks do not stick or drag on the strings, but slide off easily. I lick my forefinger just a bit before grabbing the pick and it stays in place easily without sliding between my finger and thumb. REALLY like them

Makes my mandola sound smooth expensive. Like many mandolin players I'm on an endless search for the right pick. This one is very memorable and I will use a lot. Only drawback is it lacks volume. Amplified it's OK but acoustic you may have a problem.

I've never given a five-star review before. This is a superior, well-engineered product. It takes a bit of getting used to but soon affords a far greater range of expression than most of its competitors. The secret lies somewhere in the combination of slickness, rounded edges, and unyielding rigidity. Probably not worth thinking about too deeply -- the important thing's the improved playing. My hat's off to whoever designed this pick and came up with the right vinyl mix.

these picks are the holy grail for arch-top jazz guitar. solo lines are clear and defined with gorgeous timbre. chords are clear, full, and ring just right. smooth and ready to gig right out of the package. they may not make you sound like Jonathan Kreisberg but they will take you a long way toward sounding like yourself.
