These straps are an amazing deal that are perfect if you are looking for a decent strap for one of your spare guitars. While it might not be the best looking strap around, it is so cheap that if you are constantly switching one guitar strap between a few different guitars when you are practicing, you might want to buy a couple of these to save you a bit of time. Also, they have a locking end that will prevent your guitar from slipping off, which does happen often with other cheap straps without such a locking end (and it's pretty scary when it does happen!) so you can't really go wrong with this strap.

I can't complain too much since it was so inexpensive, but after a little use, one end of the plastic buckle broke off where the fabric strap is looped around. The plastic buckle is very strong except for the skinny section, which is about 1/8 of an inch thick/wide, at the sides of the loop opening. The picture does not show the sides of the opening where the strap loops around, but that's where it broke. If the designer/manufacturer made this tiny portion a little wider, say by another 1/8 ", it would of been perfect.

not bad

By Bobby

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

tried it on my epiphone guitar and it didnt fit, i had to force it and almost broke it trying to get it on my guitar... maybe i put it on wrong? any ways, now that its on it isnt too comfortable, the standard epiphone strap is more comfortable, however overall it does what it is supposed to, not too bad.

16 years

By Joey Angel

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

I have one of these in red, which they seem to no longer offer, on my Carvin DC127 for the past 16 years. I've never had a problem with it at all. I'm trying to figure out what everyone's issue is with it. I think for the price its a heck of a bargain. I just bought 2 more , one in black one in blue just to have. I've never had a problem with the locks on the strap or any part of it actually.

Not Really Worth It

By Stacy Bowen

from los angelas california

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

I bought this strap because I was trying to be cheap and not spend 20 bucks on strap locks. at first when I got them them I have to force them on to my guitar. When I tried to force them in the the secound whole that locks them in place the plastic broke. So if your thinking about being cheap and buying these don't. Do the right thing and buy strap locks.

Too Small

By Richard Duvall

from Fairfax, Virginia

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

The strap won't fit on any of my guitars. I'm going to drill them larger, but I'm annoyed at how small they are. I would certainly break them by applying any more pressure to get them on. I've tried them on a G&L (fender strat style), a couple Epiphones, and a Taylor. It might work once I open up the holes a little further, but not worth the 4 bucks. An equally priced regular would be a much smarter idea.

Good Strap

By Mauricio

from Auburndale, Florida

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

This strap is pretty good, it keeps your guitar from falling off easily. I had to angle the opening and slightly force it into place, but after a couple of times it wears away and becomes easier to put on without worrying about it falling off. The colors are not bad, I have the silver one. The only problem I have with it is that my guitar will continuously slide downward, I have to hold my guitar upward against its own weight instead of it relaxing in place.

        Cons

        • Did not sit flush with guitar

        Best Uses

        • Backup

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

I bought this in hopes of using it instead of a leather strap that tended to get worn. I was not happy with what I ended up with. The strap was BARELY long enough. The hole was too small for one of my buttons so I had to use a drill to make it bigger, and the plastic piece simply sticks out from the guitar if your button is placed slightly inconveniently. It may be decent for electric guitars, but if you are an acoustic player... Don't get it. There is bound to be something better lol.

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

First off, this is very short. I realize the length is in the description now. The strap is made is America which was nice, until you notice poor stitching, the brittleness of the plastic, and overall cheap feel. $5 is $5 so you do get what you pay for. I put it on 1 guitar and trying to lock it in place broke the squeeze together locking mechanism. Bottom line, you do not care about your gear if you purchase this.

Comments about D'Andrea Locking Nylon Straps:

Great for beginners. Although, not flashy, this strap is great for musician's getting comfortable with handling a new instrument. The locking system prevents the strap from detaching, causing unnecessary slips or falls while handling or playing.
